It has been in operation, off and on, since 1985! It now has a web interface as you can see. If you really know nothing about BBS's please take time to read the documentation before entering.</div> <bR> <div> One of the best features is that users (you) can create your own message areas. You can even make them private and invite only your friends. There is also a chat section. Both of these features require validation which may take a day or two. The "citadel" style of the message areas is more like a conversation rather than like a newsgroup.</div> <bR> <div> Again, read the documentation. It's a little outdated because it doesn't have any info on the web interface.
